Dr. Diabolical’s Laboratory
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger takes riders on a themed journey though the lab and experimentations of Dr. Diabolical herself. The first portion of the queue, which is outside, gives guests an amazing view of the ride as it cycles overhead. The final stretch heads into Dr. Diabolical’s secret lab. Riders are told that they will be able to sample one of Dr. Diabolical’s newest creations, an elixir capable of preserving life. However, it is quickly realized that Dr. Diabolical has other sinister plans. The immersive queue features multiple rooms, detailed themed elements, animatronics and more.
Riders travel through the coaster’s zero-G roll inversion.

Unique Ride Locker System
Prior to entering the ride’s station, guests have access to complimentary lockers for their smaller loose articles. Lockers can be utilized with your pass/ticket barcode and items are picked up at the attraction’s exit. Don’t have your physical pass/ticket handy? Paper barcode cards are available near the locker station.

Sundance Theatre
Six Flags Fiesta Texas originally opened in 1992 with a heavy emphasis on theatrical productions and live entertainment. The park built several state-of-the-art performance venues, including Sundance Theatre, to house their stellar offerings to guests. Sundance Theatre was home to several notable productions over the years, including Rock Apocalypse, Summer Nights and over two decades of award-winning country music entertainment. 2021 marked the final year of live entertainment at Sundance Theatre as it was demolished to make way for Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger.

Construction Updates

Attendees of the park’s Roller Coaster Rodeo event were treated to an in-depth construction tour of Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger. The tour allowed close-up shots the ride’s structure and a better look at continued progress. Next, attendees were treated to a huge queue theming presentation, which took place inside Zaragoza Theatre.
