BREAKING: Power Surge to Close for Good

Fiesta Texas made an official announcement today that Power Surge will officially close for good this season. Your last chance to ride this attraction will be on July 23rd. It seems as if this attraction had already been on the chopping block the last couple of seasons. The wear and tear Power Surge has endured over its lifetime has become very evident.

This opens a lot of speculation as to what will be taking its place in the upcoming 2018 season. Many rumors are swirling around, though no definite announcements have been made by Six Flags. We expect some type of announcement for the park's 2018 season around the beginning of September. We will keep you updated as official information becomes available.
